Commercialise in China – Applying for a Chinese visa

After you have paid your deposit for the Commercialisation Program, please ensure that you secure a Chinese Tourist (L) Visa as soon as possible. These are available from your local embassy, high commission or consulate. If your visa is denied beyond our due date for payment, you will not be eligible for a full refund of the deposit. If you intend to stay in China for an extended period, or if you wish to enter and leave the country more than once (to visit Hong Kong, Macau City or any other neighbouring cities outside the mainland), then you must apply for a ‘multiple-entry’ visa. If you apply for a single entry visa, you cannot change it to a multiple-entry visa after arriving in China. Your local consular staff will be able to provide advice on these matters.
